JULY 2017 – PRESENT V.I.P. TOUR GUIDE, THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY Constantly maintaining vast knowledge of Disney culture and history. Performing guided historical, family fun, private tours as a part of the Disneyland Resort team—the most competitive, sought after and recognized role at the Disneyland Resort. Gatekeeper of Disney customer service values and detail- oriented nature. In charge of planning and creating guest’s itinerary during their stay at the Disneyland Resort.
APRIL 2014 – PRESENT GUEST RELATIONS, THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY Communicating well and using strong interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships on behalf of the Walt Disney Company. Received over 30 guest compliments about my skills to handle guest concerns. Strive daily to attend to guests with disabilities. Anticipating guests needs. JANUARY 2016 – MAY 2016 EDITORIAL ASSISTANT, THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER Acted as a liaison between editors and writer staff. Worked on long form research and data collecting entries. Assisted staff with transcription. Pitched ideas. Got to cover America’s only romance book store in the United States before they opened to the public after I pitched the idea. Demonstrated ability to work under high pressure with tight deadlines. Often sent to interview talent and cover award shows and movie premieres. Responsible for fact checking, proof reading, and collecting stories from staff.
OCTOBER 2013 – NOVEMBER 2015 PRODUCTION ASSISTANT, THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY Worked closely with producers, directors, production crew and talent on the making of Tomorrowland. Managed production books and schedules. Highly regarded as talent wrangler and entertainer during production downtimes. Assisted actors, crew and issued scripts.
SEPTEMBER 2014 – APRIL 2015 SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN, PBS SOCAL Installed database to analyze fan feedback data. Hosted and facilitated PBS show screenings. Generated 130 new followers within a week of planned social media contest activity. Used social media platforms to create DIY projects for parents and children.
APRIL 2014 – AUGUST 2014 PRODUCTION & EDITORIAL INTERN, THE WRAP Supported staff by transcribing interviews. Created original story content by comparing celebrities to literary novels. Curated questions for interviews. Managed and coordinated with publicists and media talent. Received positive feedback from publicists about creative questions and industry knowledge.
JANUARY 2010 – AUGUST 2012 STAFF WRITER, LA YOUTH NEWSPAPER Pitched stories about troubled youths in the community. Created mood-music playlists to add to online site. Interviewed community, peers, and other students, and also assisted with lifestyle pieces.
AUGUST 2009 – JUNE 2011 WRITER & EDITOR, MAYFAIR WINDJAMMER Designed and formatted the opinion page. Managed team meetings and deadlines. Wrote stories based on what students wanted to read. Created and facilitated student surveys so we could get direct results about what students wanted to hear.
