Sherlock ‘The Sign of Three’

This is the most interesting and controversial Sherlock episode thus far. It has done three things to its own fandom and to itself as a television show in the course of what was a singularly fast paced episode. In the course of ninety minutes the show ended with mixed reviews from critics and fans a like bashing the episode from being the most un-Sherlock, Sherlock episode in the history of the series and the novel counterpart as well. Secondly, it is an episode in which a case (if you even want to call it that) presents itself only in the last thirty minutes of the show and is solved quite hastily. Lastly, the big reveal at the end of this episode (which I will indeed save for the end but don’t worry it’s not an obvious spoiler) is probably the most hot topic button pushed that leaves you hoping for the worst in the season finale.  In short this episode is the lightest, un-Sherlock, cleverly written episode that has viewers laughing, baffled, and yet subtly suffocated as a lingering darkness looms in the last five minutes leading up it the impending season finale.

Three Best Latinx Short Films on HBO Max for Halloween 2020

Fall is undoubtedly the best time of year, well at least to me. I mean, who doesn’t love the end of summer? And since it coincides with National Hispanic Heritage Month, I ventured out to find which streaming services out of the four horsemen: Disney Plus, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max.  Coming in at over 20+ Hispanic/Latinx films, HBO Max was the clear winner.

Thor: Goddess of Thunder “If He Be Unworthy” Issue 1 review

ThorLadyMarvel really turned up with heat this past summer when they announced that Thor—THE ODINSON—was going to take a new direction—an entirely new direction.

No, it wasn’t going to be death.

No, it wasn’t going to be him reconciling with his evil brother Loki who is to take over the world (finally!).

It was the biggest bombshell Marvel comics has ever made to date.

The Thor Odinson was now going to be a female.

Sherlock ‘The Empty Hearse’ (Spoiler-Free Review)

Sherlock Season 3; Episode 1’The Empty Hearse’ marks the return of Sherlock Holmes

What exactly does the public know about Sherlock Holmes? We know that he is a super sleuth detective with the mind of a cold, calculating computer and the temperament of Ebenezer Scrooge. We also know that the last time any of us saw him was when he had decided—or rather was forced—to plunge to his death at Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital and somehow managed to live. It was the cliff hanger of the season two episode ‘The Reichenbach Fall’ that left fans around the globe wondering how Sherlock Holmes faked his death, and left his best—and only friend—John Watson ignorant of the fact that he was, indeed, alive.
